1. The
Federal Government of Ethiopia has allocated budget towards the cost
of the Universal Electricity Access Program for increasing people’s
access to electricity in rural towns and villages.
2. The
Implementing agency, Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo)
now invites all interested and eligible bidders for the following
contracts:
Lot-1 Supply
of 264,950 assorted 33 kV line Cross arms
Lot-2 Supply
of 1,150,000 assorted Medium Voltage Pins
Lot-3 Supply of 2,400,000
assorted Medium Voltage Fittings (Collar, Bolt and Nut M 10, 4cm,
Bracket, Long bolt and Tie Strap)
Lot-4 Supply
of 2,114,4000 assorted Over Head Line Accessories
3. Bidding
will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB)
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information form and inspect the
bidding documents at the office of:

The bid documents shall be available form April 02, 2007
onwards against payment of non-refundable fee of ETH Birr 500 for
each lot.
6.
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of USD 12,000
or equivalent amount, and must be delivered to the address above at
or before 11:30 Hours
local time on May 17, 2007.
7.
Each bid security shall be counter guaranteed by any bank in
the purchaser’s country.
8.
Bids will be opened on May 17, 2007, 14:30 Hours Local
time in the presence of
the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at
EEPCO Club, Mexico
Square, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
9.
The Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation reserves the right
to reject all or part of this bid.
