The Addis Ababa Water & Sewerage Authority invites bidders
regularly registered with the Ministry of Water Resources to give
their offer for design of anaerobic ponds, secondary sewers,
laterals (stage I & II) & trunk sewer line (stage II).
2.
Documents shall be obtained from the same office against
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 300 during office
hours upon presentation of registration certificate from Ministry of
Water Resources, registration certificate from the federal Ministry
of Finance, renewed trade License for the year & VAT registration
certificate.
3.
The project consists of two lots.
Lot 1. Design of anaerobic ponds &
related works.
Lot 2. Design of secondary, laterals
& trunk sewers for Kaliti catchment Sewerage System.
4.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information

Box 1505, Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia.
6.
All bids shall be accompanied by bid bond of birr 10,000 up
to 50,000 in the form of Bank Guarantee or Certified payment Order (C.P.O.)
or Cash. Bid bond in any other form shall not be acceptable.
7.
Bids shall be submitted in two separate envelopes: 1.
Technical envelope 2. Financial envelope each having one original
and two copies.
8. All
eligibility certificates cited under No. 2 shall be found in the
original technical envelope, and are submitted in the tender box on
the closing date.
9. Bid
bond shall be in a separate envelope and be submitted in the tender
box together with the original technical envelope.
10. Bids
must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at or
before 10:00 A.M. local
time on May 3, 2007.
11. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official
representatives who wish to attend, On May 3, 2007 at 10:30 A.M.
local time.
12. Failure
to comply with any one of the conditions from (6) to (10) indicated
above shall result in automatic rejection.
13. The
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or al bids.
