Ministry of Education invites eligible consultants for the
Development of proclamation for Ethiopian national commission for
UNESCO.
Qualification profile and experience of the consultant
1.
General:
Families with United Nations system in general and the work of
UNESCO in particular
Experience in the development of any legal framework of
international nature
Have good communications skills
Fluent in English language (spoken & written)
2.
Specific:
1.
Posses at least 1st degree in law
2.
Familiar with international law
3.
Long standing expertise at least 5 years in the development
of proclamation preferable in education, culture, communications,
science and technology.
1. Therefore:
bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open International
tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement
Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of
Ethiopia. Interested bidders shall obtain bid documents from Room
No. 30 against payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 50.00 (Fifty
Birr) during office hours upon presentation of registration
certificate from the Federal Ministry of Finance & Economic
Development, renewed trade license for the year & VAT registration
certificate.
2. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 3,000 (Three
Thousand Birr) in the form of Bank Guarantee of certified payment
order (C.P.O.) Bid bond in any other form shall not be acceptable.
3. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes 1-techncial envelope 2-
Financial envelope each having one original and one copy.
4. All
eligible certificates cited under No. 1-should be found in the
original technical envelope, and be submitted in the tender box on
the closing date.
5. Bid
bond shall be in a separate envelope and be submitted in the tender
box together with the original technical envelopes.
6. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
at or before 10:00 AM local time on May 16, 2007.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official
representatives who wish to attend, on May 16, 2007 at 10:30 A.M.
local time.
8. Ministry
of Education reserves the right to accept or reject the bids.
