CARE-International in Ethiopia is a non-governmental, humanitarian
organization that is keen in providing humanitarian-relief and
developmental sieves to the needy. CARE has been active in Ethiopia
with the same objective of helping the poor and disadvantage groups
of the society for the last 20 years, since 1984.
As
a country office of the CARE International Federation, CARE is bound
by standardized international finance and accounting principles and
international humanitarian standards. As a country office of the
federation, however, its human resources polices and
country-specific and bond by Ethiopian law.
Thus, CARE Ethiopia has a unique and complicated organizational
structure that accommodates for both geographic and programmatic
divisions, CARE-Ethiopia Personnel Manual, job description and
specifications, a performance evaluation system, a job grading
system, and a multi-tiered salary scale.
Based on the organization policy, CARE Ethiopia would like to
conduct compensation review for his national staff.
The objectives of the consultancy service are:
1.
To assess and revise the existing CARE-Ethiopia compensation
package for national staff
2.
To make recommendations for revisions
Therefore, interested firms can send their financial & technical
proposal sedately by CARE Ethiopia’s self addressed envelopes up to
Ten calendar days from the first day of this announcement on
newspaper, Proposal/quotations received after the due date will not
considered.
Duration:
the duration of assignment will be 60 calendar days.
Only perspective firms who meet or exceed the stated requirement
will be considered. The Terms of Reference (TOR) can be obtained
upon paying of Birr 30 from the Head Office of CARE Ethiopia. A
Quotation/Proposal with separate technical and financial parts
should be submitted to CARE-Ethiopia, Procurement Office.
CARE-Ethiopia reserves the right to cancel the bid fully or
partially.
