1. The
Ethiopian Airports Enterprise (EAE) has funds within the Employer’s
budget to be used for the construction of office, store, toilet and
guard house at Bole
International Airport premise.
2. The
Ethiopian Airports Enterprise invites al registered contractors of
category GC/BC 7 and above having trade license and construction
service certificates valid for 1999 Ethiopian Calendar year, VAT
registration and tax certificate and to submit wax-sealed bids for
providing the necessary labor, material equipment and any other
necessary requirements for the execution and completion of the above
works.
3.
A complete set of
bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder
from EAE Head Office near Gerji customs office upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 200 (Two Hundred Birr).
4.
All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security of birr 5000.00 (Five Thousand Birr)
in the form of C.P.O. or Bank guarantee.
5.
Each prospective
bidder proposing to bid for this project must be eligible fulfilling
the requirements of the particular instruction of the project.
6.
The bid along with the
bid security must be delivered to the EAE purchasing and Logistic
Administration Department on or before March 29, 2007 up to 10:00
A.M. and will be opened on
the same date and time. Late bids will be rejected.
7.
The construction of
the work shall be completed within 90 calendar days from
commencement of works.
8. The
EAE reserves the right to reject any or all bids to waive
informalities to advertise for new bids or to proceed and do the
work otherwise as may be for its best interest.
