3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open International bidding
procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the
Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is
open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information
from Procurement Services Enterprise on behalf of Addis Ababa
University-Faculty of Technology and inspect the bidding documents
at the address below during office hours from Monday to Thursday
Morning 8:00 A.M. -12:00 noon and Afternoon 1:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. and
Friday Morning 8:00 A.M.-11:30 A.M. and Afternoon 1:30 P.M. -5:00
P.M.

A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may
be purchased by interested bidders at the address below and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 25.00(Twenty Five) for each
and every Lot in Category I and II from the office of the
Procurement Service Enterprise 1st Floor Room No. 2.
6.
Bids must be delivered to Addis Ababa University-Faculty of
Technology, Amsit Kilo, Conference Hall at or before
April 19, 2007 at 10:00 A.M.
All bids must be accompanied by bid security of amounting Birr
10,000.00 (Birr Ten Thousand) for each and every Lot in Category I
and Birr 5,000 (Five Thousand) for each and every Lot in Category II
in the form of CPO or bank guarantee counter guaranteed by the local
bankers. Late bids shall be rejected.
7.
The bid opening date and hours shall be April 19, 2007 at
10:15 A.M. at Addis Ababa
University Faculty of Technology, Amist Kilo, Conference Hall in the
presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend.
8.
The purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all bids.
