1. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) has allocated a budget
in various currencies towards the cost of Supply of Distribution
Materials.
2.
The Program consists of distribution extension and
maintenance works in various parts of the country.
3.
The Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) now invites
sealed bids from all internationally competitive bidders of the
world to participate in the bid for the design, manufactures and
supply of Distribution materials under one or more of the following
Lots.
Lot
4-33/0.4kV Distribution Transformers
Lot
5-Net station Accessories.
4.
Bidders should submit offer for complete items for each lot.
5.
All local agents shall have a valid business license.
6.
Bidders shall have prior considerable experience in design
and supply of similar size and type of goods as required by the
specific tender.
7.
The bid document shall be available from March 6, 2007
onwards against payment receipt of Birr 500 (Five Hundred) for a lot
from the Procurement Division. All bids must be accompanied by bid
security as per the bid requirement, and must be delivered to the
address below at or before 4:00 P.M.
local time (Addis Ababa) on
April 23, 2007.

Bids will be opened on April 24, 2007 at 10:00 local time in
the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend the bid
opening to be held at Mexico Square, EEPCo, Club, Addis Ababa.
9.
The Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation reserves the right
to reject any or all bids.
10. Bidders
are advised to submit their offer after examining the bid document
very carefully.
