The Merchandise Wholesale and Import Trade Enterprise (MEWIT) invites wax-sealed bids from experienced and qualified bidders for the supply of the following items:-

1. White wood free printing paper 60 and 80 gms/m²

2. Assorted colors bank printing paper 45 gms/m² 

3. Edible oil

4. Sanitary wares

5. Electrical water heater

6. Black steel sheet

7. Re-enforcement bar

8. Tubular LTZ profiles

9. Angle iron

10. Flat iron

11. Welding electrodes

12. Aluminum plain sheets

13. Electrical cables

A complete set of bidding document may be purchased by any interested & eligible bidders on the submission of copy of a renewed license and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr only).

All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of 2% of the total offered value of the goods and must be submitted to foreign purchase coordination service on or before 5:00 P.M. local time on March 29, 2007.

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives at 9:00 A.M. on March 30, 2007.

MEWIT reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
