Ethiopian
Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) (Western Regions) invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of
Mobile Apparatus.
1. The
tender remains floating from March 21, 2007 until April 2, 2007 at
5:00 P.M. Bid documents can
be obtained from ETC’s
Legehar Building 3rd floor Office Room No. 332 (Addis
Ababa) during office hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
Birr 20.00 (Twenty Birr). Bidders should submit all their renewed
original license & VAT certificate with copies (if they are
registered) when they come to obtain the bid documents.
2. Bidders
shall furnish as part of their bid, bid security Birr 3,000 (Birr
Three Thousand).
3. The
Bid bond must be in either of the following form:
a)
Cash
b)
Certified cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized Bank or
c)
Bank guarantee from recognized bank.
4. Bidders
who wish to submit bid security in the form of cash are required to
deposit at ETC’s fixed line (Legehar Building) cashier, ground floor
hall at the right, before April 2, 2007 at 5:00 P.M.
and produce the receipt during the bid opening.
5. Bidders
should prepare their offer in a wax-sealed envelope and deposit in
the box situated at ETC’s Legehar Building 3rd floor Room
No. 321 on or before April 2, 2007, 5:00 P.M.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their
representatives at ETC (fixed line) Legehar Building 4th
floor Room No. 420 on April 3, 2007 at 3:00 P.M.
7. Partial
bid is allowed.
8. The
Corporation reserves the right to reject all or part of the bids.
