The Ethio-Djibouti Railway (CDE) wants to sale by bid copper wires
and used galvanized steel rectangular poles estimated to be 16 and
760 metric tones respectively located in Addis Ababa and Dire Dawa.
1) The
potential bidders should submit their offers in a sealed envelope
indicating the price for a metric tonne for copper wires and
galvanized steel rectangular poles separately.
2) The
bidding document can be collected from the Procurement and Stores
Department in Addis Ababa against payment of Birr 100.00
non-refundable.
3) Bid
should be submitted together with a payment order in C.P.O. an
amount of Birr 50,000.00 refundable upon the designation of the
successful bidder.
4) All
bids must be submitted to the Head Office in Addis Ababa not later
than 15 days (Fifteen days) at 12:00 A.M. local time from the date
of publication of this tender in “The Ethiopian Herald.
5) These
properties having been imported duty-free, the customs due must be
paid.
6) Bids
will be opened publicly the next working day at 10:00 A.M.
local time at the Head Office in
Addis Ababa.
The CDE has the right to accept or
reject a part or whole of the bids.
