1.
The Oromia Education Bureau has received a budget from Oromia
Regional State towards the
cost of rehabilitation of SDC in Illu Aba Bora Zone.
2.
The Oromia National Regional State Education Bureau now
invites all contractors of category GC/BC 5 and above with renewed
license valid for the year 2007 for furnishing the necessary labor,
materials, equipment and service for the rehabilitation of the
works.
3.
Bidding documents may be purchased at the office of Federal
Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Oromia National Regional State
Education Bureau, Near Nefas Silk Shell Depot P.O. Box 8728 Tel.
251-01-40 13 80 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, up on submission of written
application and a non-refundable fee of Birr 650/Six Hundred Fifty?
Starting from March 9, 2007 up to March 28, 2007.

Cop of VAT certificate, trade license and registration
certificate from Ministry of Works and Urban Development must be
submitted attached with the application.
5. Bidders
may obtain further information, inspect and acquire the bidding
documents, from the above-mentioned office.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, valid for 120 days after
the date of bid opening in an acceptable form CPO or Bank guarantee
(in the form of attached with the bid document) of 2% of the bid
amount and must be submitted on or before 2:00 P.M. of 10th
of April, 2007.
7. The
validity of he bid shall be 90 days from date of bid opening.
8. Bid
will be opened and read in the presence of bidders or their
authorized representatives on the same day of submission of the bid
at 2:30 P.M. in OEB hall.
9. The
work shall be completed within a maximum of 180 calendar days from
the commencement date of the work.
The Oromia Education Bureau reserves
the right to reject any or all bids.
