1. The
Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority invites interested Bidders
for the supply of:-
I. Spare
parts for Legedadi water treatment plant
Lot I. Pipes & fittings for Back wash compartment
st 1 &
st2, and St 1 back wash
gallery.
Lot II. Electrical Spare
Parts For X 23 Control panel
Lot III. Electrical Spare
Parts For Raw water inlet
control panel X 29 & X 31, pilaster
clarifier control panels X 24 & 38 and
pulsater clarifier
Lot IV. Vacuum regulator,
glass flow meters,
Chlorine connection pipe, chlorine catch
pot, Chlorine gas strainer, ball valves, hydro
ejector & Polyelectrolyte Flow
meters for Chlorine Distribution System
Lot V.
Drain valves, air vent mesh, air
cleaner suction
strainer, Membrane for non
return/check valve, Flanged rubber
compensator.

2. The
Bid Documents shall be purchased from AAWSA’s Purchase Division
located at Megenagna, P.O. Box 1505, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel.
011-662-00-10, )11-662-18-02, Fax (251-011)663 39 24 against payment
of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 during office hours upon
presentation of registration certificate from the Federal Ministry
of Finance, renewed trade License for the year & VAT registration
certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of
AAWSA’s Purchase Division located at Megenagna, P.O. box 1505, Addis
Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel. 011-662-00-10, 011-662-18-02, Fax (251-011)
662 39 24.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by bid bond amounting as specified under
ITB clause 14 of the bid document for each lot, in the form of Bank
Guarantee or Certified Payment Order (C.P.O.) or Cash. Bid Bond in
any other form shall not be acceptable.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes:- 1. Technical envelope
2. Financial envelope each having one original and one copy.
6. All
eligibility certificates cited under No. 2 should be found in the
original technical envelope, and are submitted in the tender box on
the closing date.
7. Bid
bond should be in a separate envelope and be submitted in the tender
box together with the original technical envelope.
8. If
the Supplier is not Manufacture, he should provide signed and if
possible stamped supplier authorized from the Manufacturer.
9. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
at or before 10:00 AM local time on December 27, 2007.
10. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official
representatives who wish to attend, on December 27, 2007 at 10:30 AM local time.
11. Failure
to comply with any of the conditions indicated above will result in
automatic rejection.
12. The
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
