Re-Bid
1. The
Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority invites interested Bidders
for the supply of riser pipes with sockets.
2. The
Bid Documents shall be purchased from AAWSA’s Purchase Division
located at Megenagna, P.O. Box 1505, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel.
011-662-00-10 Or 011-662-18-02, Fax(251-011)662 39 24 against
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 during office hours upon
presentations of registration certificate from the Federal Ministry
of Finance, renewed trade license for the year & VAT registration
certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of
AAWSA’s Purchase Division located at Megenagna, P.O. Box 1505, Addis
Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel. 011-662-00-10, 011-662-18-02, Fax (251-011)
662 39 24.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by bid bond amounting as specified under
ITB clause 14 of the bid document for each lot, in the form of Bank
Guarantee or Certified Payment Order (C.P.O) or Cash. Bid Bond in
any other form shall not be acceptable.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes:- 1. Technical envelop
2. Financial envelope each having one original and one copy.
6. All
eligibility certificates cited under No. 2 should be found in the
original technical envelope, and are submitted in the tender box on
the closing date.
7. Bid
bond should be in a separate envelope and be submitted in the tender
box together with the original technical envelope.
8. If
the Supplier is not Manufacture, he should provide signed and
stamped Manufacture authorization given to the agent.
9. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
at or before 10:00 AM local time on December 18, 2007.
10. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official
representatives who wish to attend, on December 18, 2007 at 10:30 AM. local time.
11. Failure
to comply with any of the conditions indicated above will result in
automatic rejection.
12. The
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
