For Supply and Delivery of
Software Materials

1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit from
the International Development Association /IDA/ toward the cost of
public sector capacity building program, and it intends to apply
part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract
for the supply and delivery of software materials under IFB No. Amha
/G-03/07.
2. The
Amhara National Regional Capacity Building Bureau now invites sealed
bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of software
materials in package.
3. Bidding
will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines. Procurement
under IBRD loans and IDA Credits, and it is open to all bidders from
eligible source countries.
4. A
complete set of Bidding document in English “…may be purchased by an
interested eligible bidders on…..” the submission of written
application to the ANRS Bureau of capacity building and up on
non-refundable payment of Birr 50.00 /Fifty Birr/ in cash with in 30
consecutive calendar days starting from the date of this bid
announcement during the official working hours.
5. Bids
must be accompanied by a bid security bond amounting to Ethiopian
Birr 1% of the Total bid amount in one envelope in an acceptable
form. The bid security should be in the form of an conditional bank
guarantee or certified payment order (CPO).
6. Bidders
should present currently renewed trade license, VAT & TIN
Registration Certificates.
7. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

9. Bids
must be delivered to the address below started at end of this
INVITATION FOR BID (IFB). Bids will be closed at 2:30 P.M. 18 December, 2007. Bids will be
opened in the presence of the bidders /representatives of bidders
who choose to present in person at 3:00 P.M. On 18 December, 2007.
Late bids will be rejected.
10. The
offer should be valid for 90 days from the bid submission date.
