1. The
Ethiopian Airports Enterprise has intended Gambela Airport water
supply system to be rehabilitated that includes the water well
development through rehabilitation and pump test, supply and
installation of water supply system components.
2. For
the work the Enterprise invites eligible contractors of Grade 69 or
above specialized in water and electromechanical works construction
particularly experienced in deep water well rehabilitation and
development with license from Ministry of Water Resource, VAT
registered and renewed trade license for the current budget year.
3. A
complete set of bidding documents can be purchased by interested
bidders from Ethiopian Airports Enterprise head office Finance
Service, cashiers office during working hours, up on payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 300.00 (Three Hundred Birr) in the form
of C.P.O or Bank guarantee along with their offer.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 10,000.00 (Ten
Thousand) in the form of C.P.O or Bank guarantee along with their
offer.
5. The
sealed envelopes containing an original and a copy of offer and
Qualification documents shall be delivered to E.A.E. Purchasing and
Logistics Service on or before December 6, 2007 up to 10:00 AM. Late bids will be rejected.
6. The
bid documents shall be submitted as follows:
6.1.
The Original and copy of the technical document s shall be
sealed in separate envelopes and marked it “Original technical
document “ and “Copy of technical document “ respectively.
6.2.
The Original and copy
of financial proposal shall be sealed in separate envelopes and
marked “Original, financial proposal” and “Copy of financial
proposal “respectively.
6.3.
The bid security will
be sealed in separate envelope marked bid security.
7. Technical
envelopes of bidder shall be opened in the presence of bidders or
their representatives who choose to attend at the E.A.E. Head Office
Conference Room.
8. Financial
proposal envelopes of bidders who pass the technical criteria shall
be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives after the
result of the technical proposal is known.

10. The
