Notice of Invitation to Bid For
Comprehensive Maintenance Service for Computers,
Printers, Photocopiers and Related Accessories
1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has allocated funds
with the Employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of
Comprehensive Maintenance Service for Computers, Printers,
Photocopiers and Related Accessories for one year contact.
2. The
Ethiopian Roads Authority invites sealed bids from eligible bidders
for the provision of Comprehensive Maintenance Service for
Computers, Printers, Photocopiers and Related accessories.
The work place Addis Ababa.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open National tendering
procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the
Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders
which fulfill the following requirements:-
a)
In the case of Ethiopian Bidders only, its certificate of
registration from relevant bodies demonstrating its suppliers status
renewed at least for 1999 Ethiopian Calendar year and proof of past
experience of at least three years of ding annual maintenance
contract in government and/or private sector for last five years.
b)
Other appropriate documentary evidence demonstrating the
Bidder’s compliance, which shall include:-
(i ) Its valid trading license
renewed at least for 1999 Ethiopian Calendar year; and
(ii) Its tax clearance certificate
and VAT registration
(iii) Any relevant professional
practice certificates.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ethiopian
Roads authority and inspect the bidding documents at the address
given below at 7(a) from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 Pm to 5:30 PM
from Mondays to Thursdays and 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to
5:30 PM on Fridays local time starting from November 15, 2007.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be
purchased by interested bidders at the address below at 7(b) and
upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 150 ETB. The method of
payment will be direct deposit to ERA’s account NBE 0160101011500 or
direct payment to ERA cashier. The document shall be collected from
the address bellow at 7(a) starting from November 15, 2007.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c ) at or before
December 18, 2007 at 2:30 PM and bids must be accompanied by a bid
security of 1% of the bid price of bidder’s offer in ETB. Late bids
shall be rejected. Bid will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/ representatives who choose to attend at the address below
at 7(d) on December 18, 2007, 2:30 PM.

8. The
Ethiopian Roads Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any
or all tenders without giving any reason.
