Water Harvesting and Institutional Strengthening in Amhara (SWISA)
is a capacity building undertaking of the governments of Amhara and
Canada. It has allocated funds to be used for the procurement of:

2. SWHISA
invites interested and eligible bidders for the supply of: soil
laboratory equipment, surveying equipment, & Motorcycles.
3. Bid
documents can be obtained from SWHISA Central Coordinating Office,
Alma Building, Room No. G09, Bahir
Dar during office hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr
50 (Fifty Birr only).
4. All
Bids must be accompanied by bid security equivalent to 1% the total
offered value. The bid security can be in the form of Bank
Guarantee, CPO, certified cheque or insurance bond.
5. Bidders
should present currently renewed trade license, VAT registration
certificate, TIN and suppliers registration certificate.
6. The
price quoted shall be CIF Bahir Dar in local currency Birr.
7. The
offer should be prepared in two: Original and one copy and it should
be properly marked, addressed, wax sealed and stamped.
8. All
bids shall be delivered to SWHISA Central office, Alma Building, Room No. G09, Bahir
Dar or P.O. Box 325, Bahir Dar.
9. Bid
closing date shall be on the 21st calendar day counted
from the date of the announcement (day 1) on The Ethiopian Herald at
2:00 PM.

Bids will be opened at 3:00 PM of the bid closing date in the
presence of bidders or their legal representatives who choose to
attend.

12. SWHISA
reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bids
without assigning any reason.
