1. The
Amhara Rural Roads Authority invites all eligible local contractors
to submit tenders for the construction of:
Lot 1-
Dilb-Densa-Mjua & Densea-Kulmesk Spur
Rural Road Project
Lot2- Merawi-Dejen & Weter
Abay-Rim-Asanat Rural Road Project (Km 0+000-Km 23+491 & Km 0+000-Km
13+300) and (Km 0+000-Km 13+312 & Km 0+000-Km 32+356) located in
North Wollo and West Gojjam Administration Zones of the Regional
State respectively.
2. To
be eligible for tendering of these projects, the contractor must be
duly registered with the Ministry of works and Urban Development. In
category GC-2/RC-2 and above with license valid for the current
fiscal year.
3. For
each project tenderers are required to present certificate for Value
Added Tax (VAT) registration, Tax payer Identification Number (TIN)
and also with recent tax clearance from respective Inland Revenue
Authority.
4. A
Complete set of on tendering documents may be purchased by
interested, eligible Tenders from our office addressed below, on the
submission of a written application and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 /Five Hundred/ Ethiopian Birr for
each project.
5. For
each project duplicate copies of tender with separate Technical
Qualification Document and Financial Proposal Document in wax-sealed
envelopes, labeled as ORIGINAL and COPY shall be placed in the bid
box accompanied by a security in an acceptable form and amount
specified in the tendering documents (not less than 1 per of the
tender price but nor more than 100.00 Birr) on or before December
18, 2007 at 2:00 PM. at the same address below.
6. Tender
will be opened on the same date 2;30 PM. in the premises of the
Authority in the Presence of the Tenders or their authorized
representatives who choose to attend.
7. The
Amhara Rural Roads Authority reserves the right to reject any or all
tenders.
