ICB Bid
The Ministry of
Education of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has
received funding assistance from Six European Countries for its
Teacher Development Programme (TDP). The Ministry wants to use part
of the fund.
To run a part-tie international standard MA Programme in ELT, to
commence from February 2008, and a parallel continuous professional
development Programme (CPD) for the national staff/institutions who
will take over responsibility for the Programme, within a 30-month
period.
The Ministry is looking for institutions that have international
reputations and can run a MA Programme in ELT and provide
professional development for national staff.
1. Interested
bidders may collect the bidding document from the Ministry of
Education Old Building, Room No. 101.
2. Bidders
may purchase a complete set of bidding document upon payment of
non-refundable fee of Birr One Hundred (100 Birr) or 10 Euros, or
Equivalent. Payment can be made in cash or cheque. For postal
delivery of the bidding document, additional 10 Euros or equivalent
is required and the document will be sent by postal courier.
3. Bids
must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 50,000 (Fifty Thousand
Birr) or 5,000 Euros or equivalent and must be delivered to the
above office on or before January 2nd, 2008, 10:00 A.M.
in Bank guarantee or certified cheque.
4.
Bids will be opened on January 2nd 2008 at 10:30
A.M. at the Ministry of education Office No. 101 in the presence of
bidders/representatives who choose to attend.
