1. The
Ethiopian Roads Authority invites sealed bids under local
competitive bidding (LCB) fro registered suppliers for the supply
of:
Lot -1 –stationery supplies
Lot -2 –computer & photocopy machine
accessories
The delivery
place is at Addis Ababa
purchaser’s warehouse,
suppliers that wish to participate in the bidding but not registered
in the list should apply to the relevant public body for
registration.
2. Interested
bidders may purchase a complete set of the bidding document against
payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 for each lot
from the office of procurement services, Room No. 104, during the
official working hours upon presentation of Trade License renewed
for the fiscal year, VAT registration and tax clearance certificate.
3. This
invitation for bids is open to all interested bidders regardless of
their nationality and the award winning bidders hall be determined
pursuant the provisions set in the bidding document. The bid
document is prepared in English Language.
4. Bids
must be deposited in the tender Box situated at the firs floor Room
No. 106 before the closing date and time
January 1, 2008
at
10:00 hr. AM
local time.
5. Bids
must be accompanied with a Bid Bond of not less than Birr 5,000.00
for Lot-1 & 10.000 for Lot-2 respectively. The Bid Bond should be
either in the form of cashier’s cheque, certified cheque or Bank
guarantee. Bid Bond in the form of insurance bond or in any other
form shall not be accepted.
6. Bids
will be opened at 10:00 hr local time on
January 1, 2008
in the Ethiopian Roads Authority
Conference Room located at the 4th floor, in the presence
of bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend.
7. The
Ethiopian Roads Authority reserves its rights to reject any or all
bids.
