1. The
Somali Regional State Bureau of Education invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for detailed design, tender document preparation
and Supervision work for Millennium Boarding School in Jijiga and
Fiq towns of Somali Regional State.
2. Consulting
architectural and engineering firms of category IV and above are
eligible to this bid. Bidders are required to provide a valid
license from the appropriate government body and proof of
registration from the Ministry of Works and Urban Development for
the current fiscal year.
3. Bidding
documents (and additional copies) may be purchase at Somali Regional
state Bureau of Education, Room No. 5 Tel. 025 775 20 69 for a
non-refundable fee of 200.00 Birr in freely convertible currency on
working hours except Fridays and Sundays.
4. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be
accompanied by bid security of 1% in CPO or Bank guaranty and shall
be delivered to Somali Regional State, Bureau of
Education on or before the tenth day of posting this invitation
letter on The Ethiopian Herald.
5. Bidders
should submit technical proposal in a separate envelope from their
financial proposal.
6. Bids
will be opened. ten days after the posting of this invitation letter
on The Ethiopian Herald, in the presence of those bidders or their
authorized representatives, who choose to attend the process on the
same date and place at 10:30 A.M. local time.
7. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
