1. Tigray
Investment Office invites eligible bidders for a study of Resource
Potential & Investment Opportunities of Tigray Regional State and
preparation of project profiles/proposals for selected
Agro-processing projects.
Eligibility
Criteria:
All interested bidders must:
a. Be
Economist & Architects Consultants of Grade IV & above.
b. Be
VAT registered
c. Have
current TAX paid up trade license.
2. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the
Request for proposal (RFP) at:

3. The
PFP may be purchased by an interested eligible bidder upon
submission of a written application to the above address and a
payment of a non-refundable fee of 100 Birr for the document.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security not less than 1% of the
bid amount. The bid security shall be payable on demand to the
employer, and must be submitted from any legally registered Bank in
the form of Certified Payment Order (C.P.O). Bid Validity required
is 30 Calendar days.
5. Wax-sealed
Bid Proposals [Technical Proposals “CCPY” & “ORIGINAL”
and Financial Proposals “COPY” & “ORIGINAL” separately
sealed] labeled properly shall be delivered to the time and date
specified below.
6. The
bid along with the bid security must be delivered to Tigray Bureau
of Trade, Industry and Transport Pool on or before
December 31, 2007
at 10:00 A.M.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or bidder’s
representatives who choose to attend at the Office of Trade,
Industry & Transport Bureau Pool on
January 2, 2008
at 10:30 A.M.
8. Financial
Proposals will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or
their representatives at the Bureau of Trade, Industry & Transport
Pool. The date will be announced on the opening of technical
proposal.
9. Tigray
Investment Office reserves the fight to reject any or all bids, to
waive informalities, to advertise for new bids or to proceed and do
the service otherwise as may be for its best interest.
