Bid Invitation for Supplementary Food
Supply
(1)
GOAL Ethiopia, an International Humanitarian Organization,
invites sealed bid from eligible bidders for the production and
supply of Vegetable oil and CSB (pre-cokkedmaiz, Soya-chic pea
fortified with micro nutrient with an additional 8% sugar) for
it’songoingprograme’s on behalf of it’s Donor,Irish Aid.
(2)
The successful bidder for the production and supply of
Supplementary food will be expected to supply the required amounts
in accordance with the delivery schedule prepared by GOAL Ethiopia.
(3)
The C.S.B. supplied is to a minimum shelf life under normal
ambient conditions of 6 months
(4)
Interested bidders who can provide current and legal
registration licenses from the Ministry of Trade and Industry
thereafter from obtain the bidding documents during office hours
starting from the first day this notice appeared in The Ethiopian
Herald Newspaper against payment of non-refundable administrative
change of ETB.50.00 (Fifty Birr) from the following address:

Bidder should submit their offers accompanied by copies of
all appropriate documents/licenses in a wax-sealed and stamped
envelope to the above address into the box ready for the bid before
10:00 AM Tuesday 20th
November 2007.

Bidders shall furnish as part of their bid, a bid security to
the amount of Eth Birr 10,000 (Ten Thousand) only, in the form of
certified as soon as 10% performance security of the total contract
price is submitted to GOAL Ethiopia.
(7)
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal
representatives who choose to attend on Tuesday 20th
November 2007 at 10:30 AM at the GOAL Ethiopia Meeting Room, Head Office,
Addis Ababa.
(8)
GOAL Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all bids.
