1. The
Haramaya University invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified
bidders for the Supply and installation of Fountain Accessories and
Fountain Lighting System.

Bids not
offering 100% of the items in the tender will be treated as
incomplete and rejected as non responsive unless no complete bid is
received for the lot in which case the purchaser will evaluate and
award the contract(s) for each items in the lot. For evaluation
purposes, the cost of the missing items will be calculated by using
the average price of other technically responsive bidders.
2. Bidding
will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures and is open to all eligible bidders.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Haramaya
University Liaison Office, at the address given below and inspect
the Bidding Documents from 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 A.M. and 1:30 to 5:30
P.M. during working days.
4. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the
address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr
200.00.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before 4:00 P.M. on
November 29, 2007. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late
bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend in person at the
address below at 4:00 P.M. on November 29, 2007. All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security of Birr 15,000.00/Fifteen Thousand/
