1. The
Federal Ministry of Health invites contractors GC/BC-6 and above
duly registered with the Ministry of Works & Urban Development and
who have renewed license for the current year and duly registered
for the laboratory Store & traditional Medicine maintenance of
Ethiopian Health & Nutritional Medicine maintenance of Ethiopia
Health & Nutrition Research Institute (EHNRI).
2. The
project consists of maintenance of laboratory store of the EHNRI.
3. A
set of tender document for the project may be obtained from
Ministry of Health office Tender, Room No. 1.3 by payment of
non-refundable sum Birr 100.00 (Birr One Hundred only).
4. Wax-sealed
envelope containing bid for finishing all labor, equipment and
material and for performing and completing all works as illustrated
and described in the bid documents shall be deposited in the
Ministry of Health office of tender not latter then December 12,
2007 12:30 AM.
a. A
separate envelope sealed and marked “BID BOND” Carrying the
contractor’s Bond must be accompanied by a security of 2% of the
amount from bank only ot its equivalent in convertible currency
(C.P.O) and shall be valid for a period of 120 days (One Hundred
Twenty days) after the date of Bid opening.
b.
A second envelope sealed and marked “COPY OF BID DOCUMENT”
carrying the original of the document.
c.
A third envelope sealed and marked “COPY OF BID DOCUMENT”
carrying the copy of document.
d.
The Bid envelope shall be opened only if the envelope
carrying the bid bond is satisfactory.
All envelopes shall be inserted in a
bigger envelope and sealed.
4.1 All envelopes shall be bear the
following reference:-
“Bid for the Maintenance works of
laboratory store & traditional Medicine maintenance of Ethiopian
Health & Nutrition Research Institute (EHNRI).
4.2 The outer and inter envelopes
shall bear the full address of the Contractor. The outer envelopes
shall also bear the following:
“DO NOT OPEN BEFORE December
12, 2007.”
5. The
Bid shall be opened in the presence of bidders or their
representatives in the office of Tender at 2:30 PM on December 12,
2007.
6. The
successful contractor will be required to furnish a performance
security in the sum of 10% of the total sum of contract.
7. Contractors
are advised to read the instruction to Bidders before filling in
their bids.
8. The
client reserves the right to reject and of all tenders without
giving reasons for. |
