1. Addis
Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority invites interested bidders for
the supply of LaserJet 9050N Printer.
2. The
Bid documents shall b purchased from AAWSA’s purchase Division Room
No. 223 against payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100
during office hours upon presentation of registration certificate
from the Federal Ministry of Finance & Economic Development, renewed
trade license for the year & VAT registration certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the 223, P.O. Box

4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond amounting of 3,000 Birr of
the bid document for each lot, in the form of Bank Guarantee or
Certified Payment Order (C.P.O) or Cash. Bid bond in any other form
shall not be acceptable.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes: 1. Technical envelope
2. Financial envelope each having one original and two copies.
6. All
eligibility certificates cited under No. 2 should be found in the
original technical envelope, and are submitted in the tender box on
the closing date.
7. Bid
Bond should be in a separate envelope and be submitted in the tender
box together with the original technical envelope.
8. If
the supplier is not manufacturer, he should provide signed and if
possible stamped Suppliers Authorization from the manufacturer.
9. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
at or before 10:00 A.M.
local time on October 26, 2007.
10. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their
representatives who wish to attend, on
October 26, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. local
time.
11. Failure
to comply with any of the conditions indicated above will result in
automatic rejection.
12. The
Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
