1. Oromia
Agricultural Research Institute invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders; for the construction of junior secondary school at Sinana Agricultural Research Center
(Bale Zone) by budget obtained from Oromia National Regional State.
2. Bidding
document may be purchased at the same Institute Room No. 18, Tel.
011-618 73 44 up on submission of written application and
non-refundable fee of birr 100 (Hundred) ETH. Birr.
3. Bidders
have to e registered to collect “VAT” and copy of VAT certificate,
construction license and registration certificate to be submitted
(attached) with the application
4. Bidders
may obtain further information from and inspect and acquire the
bidding documents, at the above mentioned office, Tel. 011 618 73
44.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security in an acceptable form of
CPO or Bank Guarantee 1% of the bid amount and must be submitted on
or before 30 days from the announcement October 10, 2007, 10:00 A.M. No. 18.
6. Bids
will be opened and read in the presence of bidders or their
authorized representatives or those who wish to attend on October
10, 2007 10:30 A.M. at the specified date above in the Institute’s hall. If the specified
date is a holiday the bid will be opened on the next working day at
the same time. Bidders should provide one original and one copy of
bid document each separately.
7. The
construction of the work shall be completed within a maximum of 240
calendar days
8. The
Employer, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
