SECTION 1
1. The
Oromia Mass Media Organization invites eligible bidders for the
procurement of IP Based Studio to Transmitter Link Equipments and
service to connect its broadcasting regional sites to the main
Studio at Adama. The equipment and service shall have the ability to
build up a cost-effective, reliable and performance-successful world
standard network that can easily grow and support the needed
service. The bid remains floating from April 11, 2008 to April 21,
2008.
2. The
Bidder shall compete for supply of full equipment and service.
3. Bidders
can obtain bid documents from Oromia Mass Media Organization
starting from the day they received letter for invitation to limited
bid from the Agency during office hours against payment of
non-refundable Birr 50.00 (Fifty).
4. Bids
shall be accompanied by Bid security of 1% of the total bid amount
on the form of certified cheque, CPO or Bank guarantee.
5. Sealed
bids marked as “Tender for supply IP Based Studio to Transmitter
Link Equipments and Service Oromia Mass Media Organization” and
addressed to:

Will be received at Oromia Mass Media
Organization Before April 11, 2008 until 4:00 P.M. Bids received
after the closing time will be automatically rejected.
6. Bids
received in time and fulfilling the other formalities shall be
opened in the presence of interested bidders or their
representatives on April 11, 2008 until 4:30 P.M. in Finfinne/ Addis Ababa at
Oromia Mass Media agency head office.
7. The
Organization reserves the right to reject all or parts of any bid.
