1. The
Tendaho Sugar Factory Project (TSFP), invites sealed bids from
interested eligible bidders for the supply of:
Lot 1: One Heavy Duty Fire Fighting
Truck
Lot 2: One Ambulance
2. The
Bid Documents shall be obtained form TSFP Procurement Office, Room
No. 401, against payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100 per
Lot during office hours upon
presentation of Registration certificate form the Federal Ministry
of Finance and Economic Development, renewed trade license for the
current year and VAT registration certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of

4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of Birr 50,000 for Lot 1 and
Birr 20,000 for Lot 2 in the form of Bank Guarantee or Cashier’s
Payment Order (C.P.O.). Bid Bond in any other form shall not be
acceptable.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes: Technical and
Financial envelope each having one original and two copies.
6. All
eligibility certificate cited in item No. 2 (Registration
certificate form the Federal Ministry of Finance and Economic
Development, renewed trade license for the current year and VAT
registration certificate) should be found in the original technology
envelope, and are placed in the tender box on or before the final
bid submission date.
7. Bid
bond should be in separate envelope and be placed in the tender box
together with the original technical envelope.
8. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
on or before 10:00 A.M. Local time on May 8, 2008.
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official
representatives who wish to attend, on May 8, 2008 at 10:30 A.M.
local time.
10. Failure
to comply with any of the conditions from (4) to (8) mentioned above
will result in automatic rejection. |
