Description

1.      The National Regional State of Oromia has allocated sufficient budget towards the cost of Detailed Engineering Design and Tender document Preparation for GundoMeskel-Walaka Road Design Project as indicated in the following table.

The Oromia Rural Roads Authority (ORRA) now invites all eligible road Consultants to submit sealed bids for the respective consultancy service of the captioned Project.

2.      Bidders, who can provide renewed & relevant Registration Certificate from Ministry of Work & Urban Development, renewed Trade License for 2000 E.C. and recent Tax Clearance form Inland Revenue Authority and VAT Registration Certificate form the concerned Authority can participate for the BID.

3.      A complete set of Bidding Document/Request for Proposal (RFP) for the project may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of a written application, with copies of documents listed under No. 2 above, from ORRA Head Office Room No. 33 (7^th Floor) upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 only, starting form the date of the 1^st appearance of this invitation notice on The Ethiopian Herald.

4.      Bidders must product One Original & Three Photocopies of Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal in different wax-sealed envelopes, and each proposal shall be sealed in such a way that “ONE original & TWO photocopies” to be sealed in one envelope, separately and labeled as “One Original & Two Photocopies” and “One Photocopy” as appropriate and MUST be placed in the bid box of ORRA, 7^th floor on or before May 12, 2008 at 3:00 P.M.

5.      Bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond specified in the above, table, in the form of Bank guarantee or CPO only.

6.       Technical Proposals will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their Authorized representatives, who may choose to attend, on May 12, 2008 at 3:30 P.M. in Room No. 33, 7^th floor.

7.       Financial Proposal of qualified bidders will be opened in the same place after 10 days form the opening date of Technical Proposals, i.e. May 22, 2008 at 3:30 PM.

8.      The Oromia Rural Road Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
