RE-INVITATION FOR BID
1. The
Amhara Rural Roads Authority invites all eligible local contractors,
to, submit tenders for the Construction of Dibl-Debsa-Miua &
Densa-Kulesk Spur Rural Road Project (Km 0+000-Km 23+491 & Km
0+000-Km 13+300) located in North Wollo Administrative Zones of the
Regional State.
2. To
be eligible for tendering of these projects, the contractor must be
duly registered with the Ministry of Works and Urban Development, in
category GC-1/RC-1 with license valid for the current fiscal year.
3. Tenders
are required to present certificate of Value Added Tax (VAT)
registration, Tax payer Identification Number (TIN) and also with
recent tax clearance form respective Inland Revenue Authority.
4. A
complete set of tendering documents may be purchased by interested,
eligible Tenders from our office addressed below, on the submission
of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
500.00 (Five Hundred) Ethiopian Birr for each project.
5. Duplicate
copies of tender with separate Technical Qualification Document and
Financial Proposal Document in wax-sealed envelopes, labeled as
ORIGINAL and COPY shall be placed in the bid box accompanied by a
security, in an acceptable form and amount specified in the
tendering document (not less than 1%) (one percent May 13, 2008 at
2:00 P.M. at the same address below.
6. Tender
will be opened on the same date at 2:30 P.M. in the premises of the Authority in the presence of the Tenders or
their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
7. The
Amhara Rural Roads Authority reserves the right to reject any or all
tenders.
