Bid Invitation for the Supply of
Motor Vehicle Tires
1) GOAL
Ethiopia, an International Humanitarian Organization, invites sealed
bids from eligible bidders for the supply of tires for different
GOAL vehicles working in different parts of the country. GOAL works
towards ensuring that the poorest and most vulnerable in our world
and those affected by humanitarian crises have access to the
fundamental needs and right of life, i, e. food, water, shelter,
medical attention and primary education. It is non political
organization.
2) The
successful bidder will supply the required quantity of tires in
accordance with delivery schedule of GOAL
Ethiopia.
3) Interested
bidders who can provide current and legal registration licenses from
the Ministry of Trade and Industry thereafter may obtain the bidding
documents during office hours starting from the first day this
notice appeared in The Ethiopian Herald News Paper against payment
of non-refundable administrative charge or Birr 50.00 (Fifty Birr)
from the following address:

4) Bidders
should submit their offers accompanied by copies of all appropriate
documents/ licenses in a wax-sealed and stamped envelope to the
above address into the box ready for the bid on or before 10:00 A.M. on 08 May 2008.
5) Bidders
shall furnish as part of their bid, a bid security in amount of Eth
Birr 6000(Six Thousand) in the form of cash payment order (CPO)
issued by a recognized bank, which will be refunded as soon as a
contract is signed.
6)
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal
representatives who choose to attend on 08 May 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at the GOAL Ethiopia meeting
Room, Head Office, Addis Ababa.
GOAL Ethiopia reserves the right
to accept or reject any or all bids.
