1. Commercial
Bank of Ethiopia invites all interested eligible consultant,
consulting Architects and Engineers of category III and above with a
certificate of registration from MoWUD, Trade license valid for 2000
Ethiopian Calendar years and have VAT Registration certificate to
conduct Design, Supervision and Contract Administration for our
Bole, Kality and Sebeta Branch Office Building. Interested eligible
bidders may obtain further information at the office of:

2. Each
prospective bidder proposing to bid for this project must be
eligible fulfilling the requirements of the Particular Instruction
of the project.
3. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to the
above address and payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00
(Birr Two Hundred) for each document starting form
April 15, 2008.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 3,000. The bid
security shall be payable on demand to the employer, and must be an
irrevocable letter of credit, or Bank Guarantee, or a Certified
Payment Order (CPO) at the bidders option.

5. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or bidder’s
representatives who choose to attend, on May 16, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. (local time)
6. Bid
validity period is 90 calendar days.
7. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive
informalities, to advertise for new bids or to proceed and do the
work otherwise as may be for its best interest.
8. All
bids must include 15% VAT (Value Added Tax) on the summery to price.
