FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES
1. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation invites Consulting Architects
and Engineers Category IV and above with renewed license and
registration certificate of year 2000 E.C. issued form a recognized
governmental institute for the supervision, contract administration
and design review if necessary for collection center (G+1) buildings
in different construction sites at Addis Ababa.
2. Bid
document shall be available from 7/8/2000 Eth. Cal. onwards against payment
of non-refundable fee of ETH. Birr 200.00 and can be obtained form
our procurement office:

3. Bidders
must be Value Added Tax (VAT) registered and have a certificate form
the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.
4. Bids
must be wax-sealed and accompanied by 1% bid bond in the form of
cash deposit, CPO or bank guarantee, but not exceeding Birr 100,000
which shall remain shall remain in force for 30 calendar days form
the bid opening date. Bid must be delivered to the address above at
or before 11:30 hours local time on 08/09/2000 Eth. Cal.
5. Bids
should be submitted with ONE ORIGINAL AND THREE COPIES for technical
and financial proposals each in separate wax-sealed envelopes, the
outer and inner envelopes shall bear the full address of the bidder.
6. Bid
will be opened in two stages, First envelopes containing technical
proposals alone will be opened in the presence of bidders or their
legal representatives. Envelopes containing financial proposal will
be kept sealed until the owner completes the technical evaluation.
The owner will inform the opening date of financial envelopes to all
bidders.
7. Bids
will be opened on in the presence of the bidders or their
representatives who choose to attend at EEPCo Club,
Mexico Square, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 8/9/2000 at 14:00 P.M. local time.

9. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation reserves the right to reject
