Invitation to Global Fund
Proposal Development
The Global Fund
to Flight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) invites all Global
Fund eligible countries/organization to write proposals on HIV/AIDS,
Tb and Malaria to apply for the Eighth Round (Round 8).
As Ethiopia is
one of the eligible countries, the Country Coordinating Mechanism
Ethiopia (CCM/E) decided that Ethiopia has to apply for malaria
component within which the cross cutting Health System Strengthening
(HSS) part is included. Based on the CCM/E decision, Federal
Ministry of Health of Ethiopia in collaboration with various
partners is finalizing preparation to start the proposal development
for the malaria component and the HSS part of the Round Eight
proposal call. The deadline for submission of the proposal to GFATM
secretariat is before 1 July 2008.
The Ministry of
Health, therefore, invites all interested stakeholders (Government,
Non-Government, Private for Profit, Private not for Profit, Civics
societies and others) to give your technical input towards the
development of the proposal by joining the Technical Working Groups
that are based at Malaria and Other Vector-borne Diseases Prevention
and Control Team for malaria proposal development and Planning and
Programming Department for HSS proposal development both at Federal
Ministry of Health.
Your
contribution would be appreciated, as it will help to develop a
winning proposal. Please confirm your interest and participation
