INVITATION FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF
LAPTOP COMPUTERS, PRINTERS AND OTHERS

Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC) (Broad Band) invites sealed bid from eligible bidders for the procurement of Office furniture.

1.      The Tender remains floating from April 21, 2008 until May 10, 2008. Bid Documents can be obtained from ETC’s Legehar Building 2^nd floor Office Room No. 223 (Addis Ababa) during office hours upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 20.00 (Twenty Birr) at Head office 3^rd floor Room No. 311. Bidders should submit all their renewed original license & VAT certificate with copies (if they are registered) when they come to obtain the bid documents.

2.      Bidders shall furnish as part of their bid, security of Birr 3,000.00 (Birr Three Thousand).

3.      The Bid bond must be in either of the following form

1. Cash
2. Certified cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized Bank or
3. Bank guarantee from recognized bank.

4.      Bidders who wish to submit Bid security in the form of cash are required to deposit in the box situated at 2^nd floor Room No. 223 on or before May 10, 2008 until 5:00 P.M.

5.      Bidders should prepare their offer in a wax-sealed envelope and deposit in the box situated at 2^nd floor Room No. 223 on or before May 10, 2008 until 5:00 P.M.

6.      Bids will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at ETC (Broad Band) Legehar Building 2^nd floor Room No. 223 on May 13, 2008 at 3:00 P.M.

7.      Partial bid is allowed.

8.      The corporation reserves the right to reject all or part of the bids.
