Invitation to local Bid
1. MERLIN,
an international non-governmental humanitarian organization, now
invites eligible bidders for the supply of drugs, medical supply and
medical equipment for a project in Somali Region founded by HRF.
2. The
Tender Documents can be purchased for 100 (one hundred) Birr,
non-refundable, from the MERLIN office during the working hours form
the 18th April 2008 at 10:00 A.M. to 25th
April 2008 at 5:00 P.M. Merlin is located in Bole Kifle Ketema,
Kebele 17, House No. 171, Addis Ababa; Tel. 011-663 92 97.
3. One
original and one copy of the bid, in separate envelopes marked
‘Original’ and ‘Copy’ should be submitted in a sealed covered
envelope at the office of MERLIN not later than 12:00 P.M. 6th
May 2008. All bids should include the aforementioned tender
Documents and be accompanied by the firm profile, past performance
record and other relevant credentials, as well as a bid security in
the form of a bank guarantee for 1% (one percent) of the bid amount.
4. Bids
will be opened in the presence of Bidders or their representatives
who choose to attend at 10:00 A.M. the 8th May 2008 at
the Conference Room of Merlin Ethiopia.
5. Merlin
reserves the right to reject the whole or part of any all bids.
