1. AMHARA
National Regional State Kobo Girana Development Program Office
(KGVDPO) invites interested and eligible bidders with valid license
for the following projects.
1.1.
Supply &
Installation of Pressurized Irrigation systems for HG-12, HG-17 and
WG-13.
The task
includes the supply, installation and commissioning of pressurized
irrigation systems at HG-12, HG-17 and WG-13 Projects in Kobo
sub-basin independently, as per the specifications & conditions in
bid documents:
1.2.
Supply &
Installation of Submersible Pumps for HG-12, HG-17 & WG-13
The task
includes the supply, installation & commissioning of submersible
pumps and accessories for HG-12, GH-17 & WG-13 projects
independently, as per the specification & condition in bid
documents;
2. Bidders
should abide with the rules & regulation of value added tax (VAT)
and others specified by the government of Ethiopia. Failure to do so
will result in automatic rejection form the bid.
3. Complete
set of bid documents can be obtained during working hours form the
date of the first announcement at KGVDP liaison office located in
the office of the Council for the
Amhara National Regional State (ANRS)
building block 3, Tel. 058-220 30 05, P.O. Box 1277 Bahir Dar,
upon the presence of
license & registration, certificate, Tax Identification Number (TIN)
certificates renewed for the Ethiopian year issued from the
respective Ministries together with written application & a
non-refundable fee payment of Birr 200 (Two Hundred) for each
project in 1.1. and Birr 100 (One Hundred ) for each project in 1.2
totally six independent documents.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 1% of
bid price in acceptable certified cheque (CPO) or bank guarantee
form from a recognized domestic bank and it shall be submitted
separately in a wax-sealed envelope or with the original technical
proposal.
5. Original
and copy of the bids should be submitted in a wax-sealed envelope
(i.e. Technical & Financial separately) to liaison office addressed
above before 2:00
P.M. on 12 May 2008.
6. Technical
proposal and the amount of bid security shall be opened and read in
the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who
choose to attend at 3:00 P.M. for the systems (1.1) and at 5:00
P.M. for the pumps (1.2) supply & installation at the
abovementioned date and address (liaison Office, Bahir Dar.)
Technically responsive bidders shall be officially invited and, the
financial bids shall be opened and read in the presence of bidders
or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
7. The
bidder can bid for one project both in 1.1 and 1.2 or for the whole
projects in 1.1 & 1.2, but should endorse bid documents separately.
