Mekelle
University hereby needs to hire contractors and consultants for
construction and Supervision of building projects to be built in
different campuses of Mekelle University, Tigray Regional State.
All Consultants of Grade IV and above
are invited to prepare Proposals for Design Review, Supervision and
Contract Administration (MUSS8) of Building project with Contract
number of MUBP 15.
All consultants of Grade III and
above are invites to prepare proposals for design Review,
Supervision and Contract Administration (MUSS 9) of Building project
with contract number of MUBP 16.
All consultants Grade III and above
are invited to prepare Proposals for detail Engineering Design and
Tender Document preparation of a water supply system of main campus
and site sanitary work of main and Adi-Haki campus with Contract
number of MUDS6 and MUDS7, respectively.
All grade I building or general
contractor are invited to construct a building project with contract
number of MUBP 15 and MUBP 16.
The contractors and consultants
should have a valid renewed license for 2000 E.C. and they have be
VAT registered.
Bid documents can be purchased form
the University of a non-refundable fee of:
Contractors
Birr 900 (Nine Hundred Birr) for
documents of MUBP 15 and MUBP 16.
Consultants
Birr 150 (One Hundred Fifty Birr) for
documents of MUSS8, MUSS 9 & MUDS6 & MUDS7

Bids shall be valid for a period of
90 (Ninety) days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a
security of 1% (One percent) of the bid amount but not exceeding
Birr 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand), or its equivalent in a
convertible currency, and shall be delivered to the aforementioned
address.
Closing time for submission of bid
will be at the end of 3:30
local time of the 30th
day to be counted from the date of announcement of the tender
and its opening time will be on the same day, at 4:00 local time. If
the 30th day is not working day, the bid will be closed
and opened at the aforementioned time to the next working day.
Mekelle University reserves the right
to accept or reject any or all the bid.
