Description

To: ALL CONTRACTORS OF CATEGORY GC/BC CLASS 5 & ABOVE WITH VALID LICENSE FOR THE YEAR.

1.      The Addis Ababa University has funds within the Employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of Fence & Gate at Addis Ababa (Nifas Silk Lafto Campus).

2.      The Addis Ababa University invites sealed bids from eligible bidders stated here in above.

3.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open National tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.

4.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a0 from 8:30 hrs to 16:30 hrs local time.

5.      A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Miazia 14, 2000 E.C. by interested eligible bidders on submission of a written application, VAT registration certificate, Ministry of Works & Urban Development , Trade License & Bid participation Supporting letter and address below at 7b & upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Eth. Birr 350.00 (Three Hundred Fifty only).

6.      Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 12:00 hrs Ginbot 13, 2008 E.C. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopia Birr 50,000.00 payable on first demand. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 14:30 hrs. Ginbot 13, 2000 E.C.

7.       a) Documents may be inspected at Construction Design Share Company, Studio II, Block No. 4, (Tel. 011-442 33 74, Or 011-442 08 00 Ext. 225, 112).

c) Bids must be delivered to: Construction Design Share Company, Tender Hall, 3^rd Floor Room No. 28.

e) The Bidders are instructed to submit all copies of the Bid in inner envelopes i.e., the (Technical Proposal, Financial Offer, and Bid Security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGIANL” and “COPIES” both for the “The Technical Proposal” and “Financial Offer.”

f) The Addis Ababa University has the right to reject any or all bids.
