Leprosy & TB Relief Association would like to sale by closed auction

Conditions
and Procedures
1. The
tender remains floating form date of first announcement in newspaper
until May 7, 2008.
2. The
auction winner/buyer will be responsible to pay all Taxes, custom
duties and other charges of a public nature assessed by the
Government of Ethiopian and must be paid to the Government of
Ethiopia when assessed. GLRA bears no responsibility for these
charges in any manner.
3. The
opening of the auction will take place May 7, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at GLRA Head Office
in the presence of interested bidders or their legal
representatives.
4. Every
body interested can bid for one or more vehicles and submit their
bid in a sealed envelope until May 7, 2008 at 12:00 AM at our Head Office,
located at ALERT compound.
5. Vehicles
for auction can be inspected during working hours form Monday April
14, 2008 until May 7, 2008 at 12:00 AM, at the GLRA
compound.
6. Each
bidder has to deposit 10% of the offered bid amount by the name of
GLRA, as a bid bond, by CPO cheque, which will be deducted from the
sale’s price.
7. Full
payment, sales agreement, tax and duties must be done within 15 days
after the auction day. Hand over of the vehicles will be after above
mentioned formalities and fulfilled.
8. All
vehicles are sold at present condition “AS IS-WHERE IS” basis with
no guarantee or warranty given as to condition or usability.
9. The
bid bond will not be refunded if the auction winner doesn’t fulfill
all mentioned conditions or rejected to pay within a period of 15
days after auction opening day. (will result in forfeiture of the
bid deposit.)
10. The
deposit for the non-winners will be refunded two days after opening
of the auction.
11. Details
of each vehicles are available at GLRA Head Office.
12. Bid
documents will be sold at the GLRA Office to interested bidders for
a non-refundable fee of ETB 150.00 (One Hundred Fifty).
13. Anybody
who does not agree with the above mentioned conditions and
procedures shall not bid.
14. GLRA
for Ethiopia has the right to reject any or all bids.
