RE-INVITATION FOR BID
Public Sector Capacity Building Program Support Project

IFB Title:- Printing & Consolidation of Proclamation and
Regulation
1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit form
the International Development Building Project (PSCAP), and it
intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments
under the contract for Printing & consolidation of Proclamation and
Regulation.
2. The
Oromia Bureau of Capacity Building now invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for:

3. Bidding
will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Oromia
Bureau of Capacity
Building, Bole Road Office No. 212
, and inspect the bidding documents
at the address below:
5. Qualification
requirements include: National bidders should have a valid and
renewed business license form the Ministry of Trade and Industry or
equivalent regional bureau, and Value Added Tax (VAT) registration
of the current year and suppliers’ registration certificate.
Additional details are provided in the bidding documents.
6. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by the
interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the
address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee 50.00 Birr.
The method of payment will be cash on Site.
7. Bids
must be delivered to the address below till 22, May 2008 at
02:00 P.M. (local time). Late
Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
Bidders/Bidders’ representatives who choose to present in person at
address below at 02:30 P.M. (local time) on
22 May 2008.
A Bid Security of Birr 10,000 in Cash payment Order (CPO) must
accompany all bids.
8. The
offer should be valid for 60 days form the bid submission date.
9. The
Price should be quoted in Birr the currency of Ethiopia.
10. Unless
otherwise specified in the special condition of contract,
alternative Bids shall not be considered.
11. The
Bidder shall submit its bid using the bid submission forms
furnished in the bidding documents. The schedule Form shall be used
for quoting the price. The authorized signatory of the Bidder shall
sign both the Form.
