1. The
Afar National Regional State, Water
Works Construction Enterprise invites sealed Bids from eligible
bidders for the supply of the following Goods:

2. Local
Bidders or local Agents of Foreign Supplier’s are required to
present:
Currently Renewed Trade License.
Tax clearance Certificate or supporting letter from Inland Revenue
Authority
Supplier’s registration certificate from Ministry of Finance and
Economic Development.
VAT Registration certificate.
3. The
provisions in the instruction to Bidders and the Condition of
Contract are current provisions of Ministry of Finance and Economic
Development Directive Procurement and Contracts (1997 E.C.)
4. Bidders
must Bid for the drilling rig set and respective services partial
bidding is not acceptable.
5. A
complete set of the Bidding Document may be purchased starting from
the day of this announcement release at office mentioned below and
upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 1200.00 (One Thousand
Two Hundred Birr only).
6. Bids
must be delivered to the office below on or before 2:00 P.M. on June 9, 2008 and must be accompanied by a Bid security of not less than 2% of the
total bid price.
7. Bid
will be opened at 2:30 P.M. on the above-mentioned date & the
address mentioned below in the Presence of Bidder or Bidder’s
Representatives who choose to attend.
8. The
Afar National Regional State, Water
Works Construction Enterprise reserves the right to accept or reject
any complete or partial bid, and annul the Bidding process.
