The Amhara
National Regional State Water Resources Development Bureau (WRDB)
hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Adet Town Water
Supply Project as per the lots listed here under
Lot 1: Civil
construction works
Lot 2: Electro-mechanical equipment supply and
installation works
Lot 3: Supply of Pipes and Fittings
This bidding is open to all eligible
bidders who have eligibility documents, such as VAT, TIN, Trade
registration, Professional certificates, renewed trade license for
the year 2000 E.C. and license for water construction works.
For lot one, bidders should have a
license of grade GC/WWC-4 or above and professional license for
electro mechanical and installation works.
Bidders should present their license
and eligibility documents with their offer. All documents including
the bid bond shall state the bidder’s company name.
Interested eligible bidders could
purchase the bidding documents with their offer. All documents

Interested eligible bidders could
purchase the bidding documents during office hours upon payment of
non-refundable fee of Birr 200 (Birr Two Hundred) for the three lots
from WRDB’S Office Room No. 12 at Bahir Dar.
If the bidder has an alternative bid
it shall be submitted in separate envelope with its bid security
bond. Alternative bids will be considered and evaluated
independently.
A bidder could participate for one or
for more lots. The Bureau gives priority to bidders in joint venture
who bid for combined lots.
Bids shall be in fixed price, no
price adjustment is allowed. The price shall be quoted in local
currency Birr.
All bids must be accompanied by bid a
bond of not less than 2% of the form of CPO or unconditional bank
guarantee. Bids shall be sealed and delivered to Water Resources
Development Bureau at Bahir Dar.
Bid closing date shall be at 2:00
P.M. on the 21st calendar day counted from the date of this
advertisement. If the 21st calendar day counted from the

falls on week ends or holidays the bid closing date shall be the
next working day.
Bids will be opened in the presence
of bidders or their legal representatives who choose to attend at
the Conference Room of WRDB at 3:00 P.M. on the same date of bid
closing specified above.
