1. The
Government of E.F.D.R has received a credit from the International
Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of Public Sector
Capacity Building Program (PSCAP), and it intends to apply part of
the proceeds of this credit to payments under the agreement (s)
resulting from this IFB.
2. SNNPRS
Bureau of Capacity Building services as the implementing agency for
the project and now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
printing 81 proclamations of the Region in 3366 copies which would
be complied in three volumes.
3. Bidding
will be conducted using national competitive bidding (NCB)
procedures specified in the World Bank’s guidelines: procurement
under IBRD Loans and IDA credits and is open to all bidders form
eligible source that meet the following minimum qualification: The
bidder must be registered for Value Added Tax (VAT) and renewed
their trade License for the current year (2000 E.C.)

5.
A complete set of bidding document prepared in English may be
purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written
application to the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of 50 Birr in cash form the Account sections of
SNNPRS CBB.

6. Bids
must be delivered to the address: CBB, Procurement Desk, Room No.
12, Tel. 046-220 45 25, Awaassa, on or before 30th day of
bid announcement on The Ethiopian Herald at 3:30 P.M. and must be inserted in the sealed box. Late bids will be rejected.
Bids will be closed at 3:30
and opened in the presence of the bidders or bidder’s
representatives who choose to attend in person at 4:00 P.M. on the final bid, submission date announced on The Ethiopian Herald.
7. The
attention of prospective bidders is drawn to the fact that they are
required to certify in their bids that all soft ware is either
covered by valid license or Produced by the bidder. All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security in the amount equivalent to 2% of the
aggregate price in Ethiopian Birr in the form of Bank guarantee
C.P.O.
8. The
CBB reserves the right to reject all or part of the bids.
