1. Tigray
Roads Authority invites interested eligible bidders for the design
of two new rural road projects.

2. The
bid documents shall be obtained form the same office against payment
of non-refundable fee of Birr 100 per project during office hours
upon presentation of registration certificate of trade license for
the year, VAT registration certificate, TIN number and tax
clearance.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the same office
of T.R.A’s purchasing Division Room No. 12, P.O. Box 14 Mekelle,
Ethiopia, Tel. 0344-40 81 64.
4. Road
and Bridge consultant grade IV and above.
5. The
Bid bond shall be Birr 5,000 (Five Thousand) for “A” and Birr 3000
(Three Thousand) For “B” in the form of CPO or unconditional Bank
guarantee only.
6. Bidders
should submit technical & financial proposal in separate envelopes
for each project.
7. All
bidders must be deposited in the tender box prepares for this
purpose at/or before 3:00 A.M. Local time on May 23, 2008.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official
representatives who wish to attend on May 23, 2008 at 4:00 local time.
9. The
authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
