Description

Invitation To Bid for Third Time

1.      Bahir Dar City Service has allocated budget for the construction of the asphalt concrete road found in the city; form DEPO to NOC.

2.      The work under this contract includes construction asphalt concrete road with pedestrian walkway.

3.      Bahir Dar City Service now invites bidders, which fulfill the following requirements, to submit sealed bids for the construction of the road.

Certificate of registration form the Ministry of Works and Urban Development with category GC-1 Or RC-1

Valid trading license for the currency year and suppliers registration certificate; and

Tax clearance certificate and VAT Registration

4.      Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure specified in the bidding documents, and is open to all eligible bidders.

5.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the Bahir Dar City Service office Room Number 38, Tel. 058-220 80 62 from 8:30 to 12:30 A.M. and 1:30 to 5:30 P.M.

6.      A complete set of the bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders starting from the day of announcement on news paper up to 7^th day at the Bahir Dar City Service Office Room Number 15 up on presentation of the document mentioned under item (3), written application to the same address and upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 1,000 (One Thousand).

7.      Bids must be delivered to the Bahir Dar City Service Office Room Number 15 on or before 7^th day of this notice at 2:30 P.M.

8.      Number of copies of bids to be submitted: one original plus two copies.

9.      Bid must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 1% of the bid amount in any acceptance form.

10.  Late bids will be rejected.

11.  Bids will be opened at 3:00 P.M. on 7^th day of this notice at the Bahir Dar City Service Office Room Number 15, in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend. (If not working day, it will postponed to the next working day).

12.  The Bahir Dar City Service reserves its rights to reject any or all bids.
