SECTION I
INVITATION OF BIDS

1.      This Invitation to bid is for systems study, Analysis & Design, Development and Implementation of application software along with the complete list of deliverables. This job will also include systems study, Analysis & Design, Development ands Implementation of appropriate network connectivity between the Factory’s Head Office and its two Branches in Addis. This would also include framing of technical specifications for the hardware, software also include framing of technical specifications for the hardware, software and networking along with the Systems Study, Analysis and Design based on which the Factory would procure these items though open bid on which application software so developed would be installed and run. This would also include training, warranty and support considering a fully integrated and networked architecture.

2.      Consultants are advised to study the bid document carefully. Submission of bid shall be deemed to have been done after careful study and examination of the bid document with full understanding of its implications.

4.      A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder who has renewed License and VAT registered, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 (Hundred Birr only).

5.      Sealed offers prepared in accordance with bid document should be accompanied by 2% operable CPO or check of the bid amount and submitted to NALF in Addis Ababa not later than 2:00 P.M. 17/09/2008.

6.      Bids will be opened in presence of bidders’ or their authorized representatives at 2:10 P.M. on 17/09/2008 at NALF.
