Description

To: ALL CONTRACTORS OF CATEGORY GC/ BC CLASS 6 AND ABOVE WITH VALID LICENSE FOR THE CURRENT YEAR.

1.      The Ministry of Education has funds within the Employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of Maintenance & Modification works of Workshop in Tegbared TVET College at, Addis Ababa

2.      Ministry of Education invites sealed bids from eligible bidders of GB/BC class 6 and above.

3.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopian and is open to all eligible bidders.

4.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 9:00 A.M. to 16:30 P.M. local time.

5.      A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Tahesas 14, 2001 E.C. by interested eligible bidders on submission of a WRITTEN APPLICATION, VAT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, MINISTRY OF WORKS AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, TRADE LICENSE & BID PARTICIPATIONS SUPPORTING LETTER at the address blow at 7(b) and upon payment of non defendable fee of 694 Birr.

6.      Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) or before 12:00 A.M. hrs. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security 15,000.000 Birr payable at first demand. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) 10:30 AM Tir 13/2001 E.C.

5. The bidder shall seal the Original, Bid security and all copies of the bid in five inner envelopes i.e. (Technical proposal, Financial Offer and Bid security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and “COPIES” both for the “The Technical proposal” and “Financial Offer”. Copy documents should be photocopy of the original bid document.
6. The employer has the right to reject any or all bids.

Partial rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on some items it not acceptable.
