Re-Tender
1. The
Education Materials Production and Distribution Enterprise (EMPDE)
intend to procure of capital items Raw materials and spare parts for
its Education Materials production and Technical Department and for
printing house workshop though international competitive bid with
EMPDE fund.
2. Detailed
information is stated in the bidding document which are obtained
during working hours from the Purchasing Department of EMPDE, Room
No.35 upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Birr 230.00 (Two
Hundred Thirty Only) as 29/12/2008.
3. Bidders
requiring bidding document by first class Air Mail should send a
Crossed Bank Draft or Birr 200.00 or an equivalent amount in foreign
currency drawn in favor of EMPDE, in addition to the price of the
document indicated in paragraph 3 EMPDE 9/200-ICB/2008.
4. Bids
must be submitted, sealed and marked as: Tender No. EMPDE
8/2000-ICB/2008 for capital item, tools and spare parts for its
Education Materials production and Technical Department and for
printing house work shop at the address stated in paragraph 6 below.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond amount of 2% in the bids
currency & in the form of counter guaranteed Bank Guarantee
addressed to EMPDE, P.O. Box 5540, Tel. 011-645 47 39 so as to reach
on or before Feb. 12, 2009 at 9:30 A.M.
6. Tender
Documents received on the said deadline will be publicly open in the
presence of bidders or their representatives at 10:00 A.M. on the same date.
7. The
Education Materials Production and Distribution Enterprise (EMPDE)
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
